The chess coach

In my opinion, the rules of the game can be learnt through books/ friends / online or through any other mode.
There are few things for which a coach is inevitable.
He will identify your strength and weakness of your game
He will teach you the most important tactics /strategies/ openings  / end games through which you will benefit a lot.
You could benefit from his expertise / experience and have opportunities to play with fellow mates who aspire to become a top notch player.
